Here's an article about William Lane Craig in The Chronicle for Higher Education. It's years old now, but I don't think it has been posted here yet. The author is a Roman Catholic who is also interested in philosophical arguments about God, but strongly disagrees with the politics of WLC and Biola more generally (you'll notice that in the article). chronicle.com/article/The-New-Theist/140019/

I think Craig's Reasonable Faith is the best christian apologetics book I have read, he is clearly a formidable debater (illustrated by the way those who disagree with him call him all sorts of names) and I have heard him speak once and he was very likeable and genuine in an old fashioned sort of way. But I agree with the article that his views on the Old Testament, especially the killing, are mistaken (though not as nasty as some people claim), and I'm not surprised if there is some right wing patriotism built in. I don't like either of those things, but they're not strong in his overall presentation. Overall, I think the article well sums up the influence he and Alvin Plantinga have had. Thanks.
