CNN recently published a long but not very deep article about Trump's faith. You can read it here: edition.cnn.com/interactive/2017/politics/state/donald-trump-religion/It's clear that Trump's religious faith isn't quite as profound and subtle as his predecessor's. Of course, the Dawk was regardless happy to speculate that Obama was really an atheist. Somehow I doubt he'll be as eager to claim the Donald, however.

Lol! (Especially the title!) No, the Dawk can laugh as the christians claim the Donald as one of theirs!

Thank you. That was a really interesting and revealing article (not to mention lovely photos). I suppose there are good, well-thought out, rational reasons for not being a Christian or being agnostic or atheist. With some people maybe not being Christian or religious might be difficulty in conceiving of an entity greater than their own individual self/ego. Dawkins and Trump might get on quite well in person.

As a follow-up of sorts, here is an article exploring Trump's love affair with fatalism. Though it is speculative to pigeon-hole him as a committed fatalist, there's a clear fatalist mode to his rhetoric and, apparently, thought.
