Yes, the Indy is always particularly awful on this, and I think it has been posted before. But that first bullet point still gave me a chuckle. Who are supposed to be the "secular" historians in the early Roman Empire? ("Be smart: No humanist historians of the first century BC mentioned Sulla") I reckon you could waste an awful lot of time on the semantics of who is really "secular" in at that time.
