It's funny. I hadn't seen any decent stats on Islam in Britain till recently but the times newspaper just did a bit of digging at the office of national statistics and found the following: www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article5621482.ece'The Muslim population in Britain has grown by more than 500,000 to 2.4 million in just four years, according to official research collated for The Times. 2004: 1,870,000
