An interesting conversation between Krauss and Dawkins on "Something from Nothing", showing how many ways it is possible to make something into nothing. richarddawkins.net/videos/644930-krauss-and-dawkins-discuss-something-from-nothing" Join critically-acclaimed author and evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins and world-renowned theoretical physicist and author Lawrence Krauss as they discuss biology, cosmology, religion, and a host of other topics.
The authors will also discuss their new books. Dawkins recently published The Magic of Reality: How We Know What's Really True, an exploration of the magic of discovery embodied in the practice of science. Written for all age groups, the book moves forward from historical examples of supernatural explanations of natural phenomena to focus on the actual science behind how the world works.
Krauss's latest book, A Universe from Nothing: Why There is Something Rather than Nothing, explains the scientific advances that provide insight into how the universe formed. Krauss tackles the age-old assumption that something cannot arise from nothing by arguing that not only can something arise from nothing, but something will always arise from nothing."What this makes arise most, though, are my eyebrows.

I can feel my headache starting again... Maybe we should try and formulate our own proofs of how something can come from nothing...? I'm going to call mine "The South Pacific Theory of How You Can Get Something From Nothing" 1. We know from South Pacific that "there is nothing like a dame" - in other words, nothing has the same properties as a woman. 2. And we all know how good women are at making things, right? 3. Ergo, nothing could have used its female-properties to create the universe. QED. Or not.

I may have referenced this before, but this blog by theoretical physicist (and atheist) Luke Barnes is a good discussion of the flaws in Krauss' logic, and physics - see Of Nothing and More sweet nothings.

I had read those articles before and I think it was you had referred to them previously - but thank you, they well worth reading and rereading.
