A new element has been named after Copernicus. That's fine, but the article reporting this manages several historical howlers: news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/sci/tech/8153596.stmI'd be very interested to read where Copernicus "finally refuted the belief that the Earth is the centre of the universe."
