Yes that was interesting. Tollefsen appears to be a Catholic, so perhaps his views are not surprising, but I think they are correct nonetheless. |

I meant that as a Catholic, he was not exactly unbiased towards christianity, just as I am not. So although he writes for a group that doesn't appear to be overtly christian (its emphasis is law and freedom), his views make it not unexpected that he would think as he does. I think it is always helpful to know people's backgrounds in understanding what they say, especially when the are part of organisations that appear to be neutral. Did you think I was expressing something more sinister?? |

I know there are different approaches to the matter between Catholics and Protestants, which doesn't bother me really. I do agree about understanding people's background perspective and often seek to find out myself when dealing with perspectives on the matter. |
