I was walking into Blackwells Bookshop at Oxford the other day (for those who don't live in England, it's the biggest and most famous bookshop in the city), and whilst I was perusing the science section I noticed that they had set up a special display of the Top 10 popular science books (whether they're ranked by sales or staff selection, I don't know).
Guess which book was number one?
Yes, James, you beat Stephen Hawking into second place. Congratulations!

Thanks perplexed. It is good to hear about the book doing well. Of course, as an Oxford alumni, I don't care about anywhere else!
I did a talk at Blackwells on Monday which seemed to go quite well. It did feel nice to be back seeing my book front of house in a bookshop where I spent far too many hours browsing during my student days.
Best wishes
James

It's on my Christmas list. After I have finished John Longeway's book, that is! (See other post).
