Hello everyone! Does anyone have any knowledge of this book? I have people who tell me that it is great and others tell me that "it has largely been disproven." What say you?

Burtt has been on my reading list for a long time and I still intend to get there eventually. The main reason I have not is that there is always something more recent to read.

As Burtt's book is quite old, it does need to be treated with caution. But my understanding is that it does contain some interestig material. I'd also like to hear from anyone who has read it.
