Has anybody heard of this project before? It is a catalogue of criticisms on Dr Carrier's work made and updated by enthusiasts who seem to like his work. This is an official site dedicated to cataloging and responding to critics of Dr. Richard Carrier's work in the fields of ancient history and modern philosophy, as well as correcting Dr. Carrier's errors when any are confirmed and improving his work accordingly. This site is fully endorsed by Dr. Carrier, but its content is written and created by fans of his work, with occasional advice and contributions by Dr. Carrier himself. The views expressed on this site might not always be his own (and when they aren't, often this will be stated), but he does take the trouble to verify that everything said here is at least arguable and not illogical or demonstrably false. If you think you've found an exception, feel free to contact the site managers. If you're right, we'll correct it. For more information about Dr. Carrier and his work see The Official Website of Richard Carrier, Ph.D..Criticisms are rated on their merit and in some cases you can find responses. There are plenty of links so it is worth checking out.

You know, I've been on Star Trek fan fiction sites that were less pathetic than this. A fan site to Carrier?
I wonder if they have a little club house with a dart board with Tim's picture on it (no doubt with mustaches and glasses drawn scribbled on), a wanted poster with William Lane Craig on it, and a huge WWI style propaganda poster of James Hannam as a savage gorilla-like beast carrying off a distressed damsel with the words "Destroy this mad brute! Enlist in the Revisionist History Corps" on it?

You know, I've been on Star Trek fan fiction sites that were less pathetic than this. A fan site to Carrier? Star Trek fan fiction? I don't read Star Trek fanfics though I have come across some other ones so... is this project that bad? I wonder if they have a little club house with a dart board with Tim's picture on it (no doubt with mustaches and glasses drawn scribbled on), a wanted poster with William Lane Craig on it, and a huge WWI style propaganda poster of James Hannam as a savage gorilla-like beast carrying off a distressed damsel with the words "Destroy this mad brute! Enlist in the Revisionist History Corps" on it? Funny that you mention that. They do have a "Roast" page for the purpose of exhibiting "the funny things that theists happen to say about Richard Carrier in confrontation with his writings or his talks in audio and video". In this section you can find this contribution: Tim O'Neill: "It seems Carrier has been living in the suffocating bubble of his own self-obsessed and self-congratulatory blog, with its attendant coterie of fawning acolytes, for a bit too long. He was also pals with the loathsome oiks of the (so-called) “Rational Response Squad” before they self-destructed. As a result, the guy not only looks like Artie Ziff from The Simpsons but has taken on pretty much the same grating, nerdy personality." "The guy is a thingy." There are also other atheists listed but they are tagged "(atheist)", so I guess this is another case of calling an atheist a theist? However, aside that silly part it is also a vast collection of critiques, from many different sources.

Looking at the update history, it seems to be pretty much a solo project by one "WarOnError" (I've seen the handle before but I'm not sure where).
